Junior Cricket
Development and community
Developing skills, friendships and a love for the game in the Adelaide Hills.
The Uraidla Cricket Club junior program is a welcoming and inclusive pathway for young players of all abilities, offering competitive and social cricket for U10, U12, U13 Girls, U14 and U16 teams. Our goal is to provide quality coaching, a safe and supportive environment and the chance for every child to enjoy cricket while building skills and confidence. Training and home games are held at Uraidla Oval, Uraidla Primary School and Ashton Oval, all located in the Adelaide Hills.
Whether your child is picking up a bat for the first time or aiming for representative honours, we have a team to suit their age, skill level and goals.

Under 13 Girls
The U13 Girls team provides a dedicated space for girls to develop their skills, enjoy the game, and be part of a supportive all-female squad. Matches are fun and inclusive, with coaching tailored to help players progress technically and tactically. Whether aiming for higher-level competition or simply enjoying cricket with friends, our U13 Girls program is an empowering and confidence-building step in their sporting pathway.

Under 14
The U14s offer an excellent progression for players looking to refine their game and take on more responsibility in matches. With longer playing times and more tactical focus, players learn advanced batting and bowling strategies, team field settings and leadership skills. It’s a key stage in preparing young cricketers for senior competition.

Under 16
Our U16 team bridges the gap between junior and senior cricket, giving players the chance to test their skills in a more competitive environment. Coaching focuses on advanced technique, match strategy and fitness, while still maintaining the club’s inclusive and supportive culture. U16 players are often invited to train or play with senior sides, providing valuable experience for the next stage of their cricket careers.
